The Best Vintage Stores in Milan
I moved to Milan in September 2024 and one of the first things I understood about this city is that people here take getting dressed seriously. Which means the vintage scene is extraordinary. When a city dresses well, its closets are full of good things, and eventually those things end up on a rack somewhere waiting for you.
These are my favorites.
In Isola, small and a little overwhelming in the best way. Prada dresses, Miu Miu silk shirts, Romeo Gigli trousers from the 90s.
The reference for high-end vintage in Milan. Two locations in the city center, both feel like a fashion archive you're allowed to shop. Giorgio Armani tuxedos, Tom Ford-era Gucci, Schiaparelli earrings.
Next door to Cavalli e Nastri. In-season, vibrant, ranges from low-key to full designer. Jacquemus, Missoni, things that move fast. You can also sell your own pieces here, which I appreciate.
A tiny find in Brera. Silk camisoles, beige Les Copains trousers, pieces from the 60s and 70s.
On Foro Buonaparte, designed to look like a Parisian mid-century apartment. YSL sailor jackets, 70s dresses, and a bandana collection.
